A huge thank you to everyone who supported Project Recover in 2025. Your donations and support made everything we accomplished possible, and we’re grateful you believe in this mission as much as we do. We’ve got big plans for 2026 and can’t wait to bring more missing service members home to their families.

2025 By the Numbers

Project Recover Underwater Survey Team in the water

Last year was our biggest yet. We raised more funds than any previous year and completed 15 mission sets around the world. Our teams worked in Palau, Vietnam, Chuuk, Germany, Italy, and the Marshall Islands.

The stat that matters most: 8 positive MIA identifications in 2025. Eight families finally got answers after waiting decades. Eight heroes are heading home.

We use cutting-edge technology such as sonar, magnetometers, and underwater robotics combined with deep historical research to find crash sites that have been lost for 80+ years. It’s painstaking work, but when you see what it means to these families, there’s no question it’s worth it.

What’s Next in 2026

Our team is in Palau right now, investigating several MIA sites and testing new land-based search technology. These tools will help us reach areas we couldn’t access before.

We’re planning at least 15 missions in 2026, including a B-52 search in Texas and our first MIA mission in Malaysia. We’re also expanding Skyward Bound, our education program that gets students involved in real recovery work. They don’t just learn about history, they help make it.

The Work Continues

Over 81,000 Americans are still missing from past conflicts. Each one has a family still waiting for answers.

We couldn’t do any of this without your support. Every mission, every identification, every family reunion: you make it happen.

Thanks for being part of the team. Here’s to another year of bringing our heroes home.
