MISSION MILES

Mission Miles is Project Recover’s premier fundraising event of the year. As a virtual challenge, it is a great way for our friends across the nation to participate from wherever they are during this month-long event from September 1st - September 30th.

All finishers received a 2025 Mission Miles Finisher bandana. Fundraisers who reach fundraising goals of $250, $500, $1000, and $2500 will earn great Project Recover swag as well!

In 2025, our challenge logged 5,347 miles over 795 hours of walking, running, biking, hiking, and rucking – all in honor of America’s missing-in-action service members.

IPAs for MIAs logo

Do you know of a brewery, restaurant, or bar that would like to support the Project Recover mission by hosting a pint night (or other event) or brewing a special beer? IPAs for MIAs is an easy way to support Project Recover by donating a portion of special event proceeds to help move our mission forward.

Supporters are welcome to participate any time of year; however, we find that many choose to participate around Memorial Day, July 4th, POW/MIA Recognition Day in September, and the holidays.

Auction

Our 2025 Veterans Day online auction will feature an AMAZING selection of vacation getaways, golf experiences, signed memorabilia, Project Recover branded gear, and more. All proceeds form the auction will directly support our solemn mission to bring home out missing-in-action heroes. The auction site will go live in November.

Thank you for your interest in joining Project Recover’s mission to bring our Missing in Action (MIA) service members home. We are currently pausing new team member applications as we take time to refine and strengthen the structure of our volunteer team member program.
 
This brief pause will allow us to better support both our current team and future applicants and ensuring we continue to maintain the highest standards in our work.

Reach out to be a project recover ambassador

Project Recover Ambassadors support the organization by raising awareness of our solemn mission and by raising funds in a variety of ways. Ambassadors can solicit contributions from individuals, foundations and corporations, identify local fundraising opportunities, and assist with event promotion.
