MORE THAN 80,000 AMERICANS MISSING IN ACTION
ONE MISSION: BRING THEM HOME
In Theaters Starting December 7, 2021
Coming to theaters starting on December 7, 2021, get an inside look at Project Recover’s mission to bring America’s heroes home in the inspiring feature-length documentary, “To What Remains.” For the first time, follow our dedicated team of accomplished scientists, historians and military veterans on their quest to search for and recover more than 80,000 Americans missing in action since World War II.
From the depths of the ocean to the farthest corners of the earth, the film takes you on an emotional journey to honor our fallen servicemen as we seek to deliver closure, solace, and kinship to MIA families who’ve gone generations without answers.
Project Recover has helped repatriate 14 MIAs and located more than 50 US World War II aircraft, with 30 of those aircraft associated with 100+ MIAs from missions around the globe. There are now 87 MIAs awaiting recovery as a result of our team’s work. And, through advancements in science, research and exploration, we continue to strive towards our vision of repatriating every American service member who has not come home.
Over the years, we’ve collected breathtaking footage from our missions and interviewed families and team members about the impact of Project Recover. Now, it’s an honor to share the passion and dedication of our team with the world on the big screen in “To What Remains.” It’s our hope that the film inspires everyone who watches it to join us in Keeping America’s Promise as we work together to bring our MIAs home.
